The 12th British Composer Awards took place on 2 December 2014 at Goldsmiths’ Hall, London.

The evening included a drinks reception and the award ceremony, hosted by BBC Radio 3 presenters Sara Mohr-Pietsch and Andrew McGregor.  The guest speaker was Dame Evelyn Glennie and Amos Miller and David Gordon-Shute from Onyx Brass performed the winning work in the British Composer Awards Student Competition.
